JD Nelson

JD Nelson is co-owner and certified technician of Sanitize Solutions. JD has an extensive background with residential and commercial properties. For over 10 years JD and his business partner Scott Edwards have been testing homes for air quality and mold issues. He entered the inspection industry in 2011 after previously serving in the United States Air Force for 15 years. He has since earned several home inspection, air quality and mold remediation certifications and completed over 8,000 services for satisfied clients throughout Iowa. JD is dedicated to offering his clients the most comprehensive mold and odor remediation, air duct cleaning and sanitization services in the area at an unbeatable price. When he isn’t working, JD likes to spend his time with friends and family and enjoys all of the memorable moments he shares with his ten-year-old son.

Scott Edwards

Scott Edwards is co-owner and a certified technician of Sanitize Solutions. Scott has substantial knowledge regarding all aspects of air duct cleaning, sanitization and mold, and odor concerns. Scott is also a certified home inspector and has inspected thousands of homes for clients throughout Iowa. He entered the home inspection industry in 2014 after working for several years in both home maintenance and construction. Scott has also since earned several inspections, air quality, and mold remediation certifications. Scott is extremely knowledgeable about air quality, mold and odor remediation, and air duct cleaning. He stays up to date on all of the industry’s latest practices and resources. Clients of Sanitize Solutions rave about his keen eye for detail and friendly customer service. When not hard at work, Scott is devoted to spending his time with his wife and four children.

Two months ago, we found a major need to have our ductwork cleaned and sanitized. Finding a DSM Metro vendor to return a phone call, let alone schedule a service was near impossible. The 2 gentlemen thank came to our house were friendly and they did a great job of cleaning our vents on a new home that had a lot of wall board dust in them. The technicians who came to clean our ducts and vents were awesome. Friendly, comprehensive, thorough, and went above and beyond. Even cleaning up the floors from wet/muddy shoes. The gentlemen showed pictures of before and afters and even helped last minute with some wet carpet we got from a clogged sink that overflowed. Truly went above snd beyond and very thankful for the information and education they gave on how to keep our home clean snd safe. Will definitely hire again in the future!!
